Nimbate bust of Christ facing, wearing tunic and pallium, holding book of Gospels in his left; around, traces of legend. Rev. Legend in Kufic naming the laqab of Fakhr al-Din Qara Arslan and his ancestors three generations back. Spengler & Sayles 1. Rare. The flan slightly wavy and with earthen deposits, otherwise, about very fine.
